5 lies we continue to tell ourselves
All throughout our lives, we seem to be great at giving ourselves reasons as to why we can’t accomplish certain things. If we get really honest with ourselves, I’d bet most of our reasons are fuelled by insecurities and fear.
Have you ever told yourself one of the following?
- “I’m not strong enough”
- “I’m not talented enough”
- “I’m not pretty enough”
- “I’m not good enough”
- “I’m not holy enough”
Enough is enough.
Although some of these points are things that may seem to be true, God has given us the power to overcome all these obstacles in order to accomplish His will for our lives. Don’t let insecurities and fear trick you into believing something about yourself contrary to what God has already deemed you. You are strong, wise, and wonderfully made in His image. Nothing can get in the way of God’s calling for your life.
Keep fighting the good fight, and don’t allow Satan to distract you from the passions Jesus has imprinted on your heart.
“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” -2 Peter 1:3
God will open every opportunity for you to flourish in what He has called you to accomplish. Don’t let anyone tell you that you aren’t good enough. With Him, you are MORE than enough.
